The Proof is in the Voting Data: The Deciders are The 50+

The voting clout of New Yorkers 50+ is undeniable.

Voters age 50 + accounted for nearly 90% of Suffolk County voters, nearly 80% of Nassau County voters and about two thirds of all voters in New York City in the June 28 primary for governor and state Assembly -  including nearly 80% in the Bronx and Staten Island.

New Yorkers age 50+ consistently show up to the polls in much greater numbers than their younger counterparts and will likely be the deciders in the August 23 congressional and state Senate primaries, and in the general election November 8.

Candidates would be wise to pay attention to issues that matter to New Yorkers 50+, such as protecting and strengthening Social Security and Medicare – programs whose benefits the 50+ have earned, based on promises that must not be broken - and supporting people to live in their own homes with independence and dignity as long as possible.
