What You Need to Know about Advance Medical Directives and How to Talk about Them

Living with a serious illness or caring for a loved one who is seriously ill can be one of life’s most challenging times. Guest Speakers from Bluegrass Care Navigators will share their experience about how early conversations may help caregivers and their loved ones. The virtual session via Zoom will introduce another form of the Living Will -- a booklet called the "Five Wishes" -- and how it can serve as a guide to meaningful conversations for end-of-life requests.

Learn more in this community session (via Zoom) about the importance of having advance medical directives -- like the Living Will. Presenters will discuss the types of advance medical directives and how to start a conversation about this difficult topic -- end-of-life care -- using a helpful booklet called the Five Wishes, which is a Living Will in a different format.

Open to All. Registration Required: https://aarp.cvent.com/kycaregivers_BCN
Details for joining the virtual session will be in your registration confirmation email.
