The general election is just around the corner on November 5. Now is the perfect time to get to know who’s on the ballot for the important seat of Governor of New Hampshire and where they stand on the issues that matter to you.

Earlier in October, candidates Joyce Craig (D) and Kelly Ayotte (R) sat down for separate conversations at the NH Institute of Politics to discuss important issues facing Granite Staters of all ages.

AARP New Hampshire and Stay Work Play New Hampshire joined together to sponsor this event and asked the candidates to address issues of importance to people across the age spectrum. Topics included cost of caregiving, family caregiving, fraud prevention, housing, mental health, prescription drug affordability and workforce development.

The goal for the forums was to give the candidates a chance to share with voters their in-depth answers about how they would address important issues.

The forums were moderated by AARP NH State Director Christina FitzPatrick and Stay Work Play Executive Director Corinne Benfield.
