The AARP Block Party is heading to Miami for the Miami Book Fair, November 18-20, 2022.
This November, attendees at the Miami Book Fair will have a chance to interact with AARP and these amazing activities for the 50+, including AARP members, and their friends and family:
o Match Game – The classic memory match game goes digital! Attendees touch tiles to reveal different information about AARP programs, and when they find a match, the pair lights up and some information about the program is highlighted on the board for all to see.
o Photo Booth – Connect with friends and family while you strike a pose at our photo booth.
o Prize Wheel – Attendees will take a spin on the wheel to win an AARP-branded prize, while supplies last, that will introduce them to one of the many AARP programs that benefit the 50+.
o Interactive Vending Machine – Learn about AARP’s history and mission and get an AARP-branded prize from a free, interactive vending machine.
o Plus, Members Get More – Any AARP member who self-identifies (by showing their AARP membership card) can receive a special gift.
AARP is also a sponsor of two Miami Book Fair book sessions. Check them out and hear our introductory remarks to learn more about our mission to empower people to choose how they live as they age.
o James A. Kushlan and Kirsten Hines on Everglades National Park (Images of America), and James C. Clark on A History Lover’s Guide to Florida. Saturday, November 19 at 12:00 pm, Building 8, First Floor, MAGIC.
