AARP Michigan is urging the Michigan Legislature to provide tax relief for family caregivers who pay expenses out of their own pockets to help care for an older family member. More than three in four family caregivers incur expenses for caregiving, spending an average of $7,242 per year.
WHAT CAN YOU DO? Help family caregivers by demanding the Michigan Legislature pass the Caring for MI Family Tax Credit to provide tax relief for family caregivers.
