AARP Hearing Center
Stories, Culture & Community Across Houston
This Black History Month, AARP Houston is proud to partner with the Houston Public Library’s African American History Research Center at the Gregory School to bring a powerful series of free events to Houston’s historic Fourth Ward.
These community gatherings are designed to celebrate Black excellence, honor lived experiences, and create space for learning, conversation, and connection. From Black cowboys and midwives to authors, storytellers, and the cultural power of Black hair, each event highlights a different piece of the African American story.
All events are free and open to the public and will take place at:
African American History Research Center at the Gregory School
