Stepping Up: Volunteers Needed to Join AARP Efforts

Posted on 03/31/23 by The AARP Bulletin

AARP Arkansas seeks volunteers to advance the state office’s mission to promote and protect the interests of residents 50 and older.

Help is needed to organize community events and do advocacy work at the Arkansas State Capitol on high-speed internet, caregiving and utility rates.

AARP also needs help promoting and educating the public about programs such as AARP Foundation Tax-Aide and AARP Driver Safety. Media volunteers are needed to help at press events; media training will be included for members of this team.

AARP Arkansas also is looking for a volunteer state president. If you’re interested in volunteering, email ar@aarp.org.
