Statewide Shred Events Help Prevent Fraud

AARP Delaware is hosting free shredding events in Bridgeville, Wilmington and Georgetown to give Delawareans more options to shred their old documents and prevent identity theft. The event is part of AARP’s fraud prevention efforts statewide. Shredding old bank statements, credit card bills, Medicare cards and anything else with personal information on it is the best thing consumers can do to prevent fraud. Attendees will receive AARP fraud information and giveaway items. There is a two box maximum and registration for a time slot is required. No binders or paper clips please.
