Special Election: Bucks County – 140th Pennsylvania State House District

After winning a district court judge seat in Bucks County, former state representative John Galloway resigned his house seat effective December 14, 2023.

House Speaker Joanna McClinton scheduled a Special Election for Tuesday, February 13, 2024 to fill the remainder of Galloway’s term.

• Last day to register to vote: Monday, January 29, 2024
• Last day to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot: Tuesday, February 6, 2024
• Last day for the County Board of Elections to receive voted mail-in or absentee ballots: February 13, 2024 – must be received by 8:00 P.M. to be counted
• Special Election Day for the 140^th District House Seat: Tuesday, February 13, 2024 – polls are open 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.
