Special Election: 35th House Legislative District

Posted on 02/24/25

Due to the unexpected death of former State House Representative Matthew Gergely, the 35th Legislative District seat is vacant. Voters in this district will have a Special Election on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 to fill the unexpired term.

AARP Pennsylvania is dedicated to ensuring that residents of the 35th Legislative District know how to register to vote, where to vote in person, what the rules are for mail-in, absentee or early voting, and key dates for voting.

While AARP Pennsylvania strongly encourages people to get out and vote for the candidates of their choice, as a non-partisan organization, we do not endorse or oppose any political candidates, we do not have a political action committee for donating to candidates, and we do not contribute to any candidate or political party.
