Speakers Available on Popular Topics for 50-Plus

More than a quarter (28 percent) of D.C. residents are 50 and older. AARP DC is here to help them. Its Speakers Bureau offers presentations to groups of 15 or more anywhere in the city on topics of interest to older adults.

Perfect for civic organizations, church groups and Senior Villages, the talks range from 30 to 60 minutes and can be tailored to fit your group’s needs.

Popular topics include family caregiving, fraud prevention, the 2020 U.S. census and job searching in the digital age—a session in which attendees learn how to look for work online and how to age-proof their résumé.
