Bilingual volunteers are needed to reach out to and take calls from isolated Spanish speakers, who need a comforting voice during this difficult time.
If you are looking to help someone in need and possibly isolated and be able to do it from the comfort of your own home, AARP has created a Virtual Call Center where people can call or get a call back and hear a kind voice to have a friendly chat, y en español.
AARP has the technology to connect those calls to whatever phone you designate. Possibly interested? Fill out this interest form linked here and we will get back with you shortly.
Below is a basic position description:
Virtual Call Center volunteers will be available to make outbound calls to people who have shared their contact information with AARP and asked to be contacted for a friendly chat. Volunteers will also be and available and able (as their schedule allows) to take inbound calls from people who want a friendly chat.
