AARP IL Sponsors a Local grandparent-grandson Duo to the Court of Dreams!

Imagine stepping onto the legendary court where Derrick Rose starred, and the locker room where Matas Buzelis hangs his jersey.

Thanks to AARP Illinois, on January 14th Patrick and Lenin will play together in a scrimmage on the United Center court, followed by dinner and seats to the game.

The pair submitted a one-minute video to our sweepstakes, highlighting their story and touching our hearts. Although they live far apart, basketball has kept them connected and AARP Illinois is proud to say we have helped make a new memory for them.
