Sheridan Action Team Donates Golf Clubs To Veterans

Sheridan Golf Clubs

AARP’s Sheridan Community Action Team (CAT) members Clarence Montano and Mike Rogers collected and delivered five sets of golf clubs to the VA Hospital in Sheridan. These golf clubs are a great addition to the previous donations of clubs given to the VA for use by VA patients.

After the CAT’s inaugural Veterans Golf Tournament in the summer of 2019, the Sheridan community has been extremely generous in ensuring that Veterans have access to clubs so that they can continue to enjoy golfing with their friends.  A total of 10 sets of golf clubs have now been donated to the VA by the Sheridan CAT.  Five sets were previously donated in July of 2019. Clarence and Mike presented the clubs to Terry Parsley, Chief of Voluntary Services, on Nov. 3.
