Share a constellation of moon landing memories with AARP
By Stephanie Sanchez
The first time a human set foot on the moon— July 20, 1969—is a day that many Americans will remember forever. It changed and shaped the lives of millions of people, inspiring them to literally reach for the stars, because the sky was no longer the limit.
Where were you during the moon landing? How old were you? We want you to share your memories of that day with us.
On Saturday, April 27, AARP in Houston and the Houston Museum of Natural Science are joining forces to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11. We will video tape your journey back in time to the 1969 moon landing, so come by and tell us your story. Your family can be with you while you share your memories of that historic day with us.
Not only will you get to tell us your story and inspire the next generations to come, but you will also receive four museum tickets to four permanent exhibits and parking pass the day of your interview.
To be a part of this journey, sign up and RSVP online at https://aarp.cvent.com/TX-4-27-MoonL or call 1-877-926-8300. The Museum of Natural Science is located at 5555 Hermann Park Drive.
