Immerse yourself in the traditions and colorful festivities of Día de los Muertos with this exclusive series of classes and events at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center in San Antonio! Craft a beautiful sugar skull, create an altar honoring those who have passed away, then celebrate with the folklorico dance and music production, La Vida de los Muertos! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to honor and celebrate life in the most vibrant way possible.

Día de los Muertos Sugar Skulls Workshop

In this hour-long, in-person class, learn to decorate the traditional sugar skulls and their significance for Dia de los Muertos. You’ll take home your creation. Class maximum size is 50 people.

Día de los Muertos Altar-making Workshop
October 30, 2024 at 11 a.m.
Join this hour-long workshop and learn about what goes into making a Day of the Dead altar and why. Participants are invited to bring a photo to participate in the Community Altar, and you'll also decorate a photo frame to take home. Class maximum size is 50 people.
