If you had planned to attend the Wyoming Public Service Commission’s public hearing on the Rocky Mountain Power (RMP) rate increase tonight (Oct. 29), keep your car in the garage and fire up your computer, instead.

Given the snowy weather in Casper and much of the state, the Wyoming Public Service Commission has decided to host RMP public comment hearing virtually, from Cheyenne. The hearing will still take place from 5-7 p.m. For the safety of all those in the path of this storm, no in person public comments will be taken in Casper.

To take part in the public comment period, click here between 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29.

I’ll be online this evening and hope you will too. If you cannot attend tonight’s virtual public comment session, but still want to make sure the Public Service Commission understands how you feel about the rate increase, click here to sign our online petition against this year’s rate increase.
