AARP is striving to make it easier for older people to live independently and remain in their homes and communities where they prefer to be, surrounded by family and friends.

By providing planning resources and additional forms of support to family caregivers, AARP hopes to create a country where people can continue to live in their homes and communities for as long as they choose.

• Helping employers to create a caregiver-friendly workplace. Employees are looking for employers that understand the need for work-life balance and flexibility to address family issues. Employers that embrace caregiving-friendly strategies and solutions will be able to recruit and retain top-quality talent and create a competitive and successful workplace.
