Reinventing METRO

Posted on 02/16/21 by Valerie Disalvio

Join AARP Cincinnati on March 18, 2021 from 11am – 12pm as we host a tele-town hall with the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority. During this call you will learn about the Hamilton County bus service upgrades coming to the Cincinnati Metro system as a result of voters approving a 0.8 percent sales tax increase last year. The increase will fund improvements to bus service, including increased routes, longer service hours and upgrades to infrastructure.

Hear how the improved service will benefit older residents and how the Metro’s Access program, which serves people with disabilities, will also expand with more small buses and destination options. Learn about Reinventing Metro.

During the scheduled date and time, you will be able to ask questions live by phone or via Facebook.

To attend the free event, go to or call 866-767-0665 or join us on at AARP Ohio Facebook page.
