Reclaiming Connection: Elders Virtual Meet-Up Series with AARP Illinois and MenLiving

For many men, retirement and aging bring freedom—but also isolation. After years of pursuing careers, building families, and hitting life’s big milestones, it’s common to feel disconnected. That’s why AARP Illinois is teaming up with MenLiving, a nonprofit committed to fostering authentic connection among men, for a powerful new program: Elders Connection.

This free virtual series creates space for men 50+ to connect, reflect, and reimagine what the next chapter could look like—together.

Elders Connection meet-ups are:

• 💡 Thought-provoking: Explore questions of purpose, connection, and identity in later life.
• 🤝 Relational: Connect with other men on shared journeys.
• 🛋️ Supportive: Come as you are—no performances, just presence.

Each virtual session is held on Wednesdays from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM CT. You must register to participate. After registering, you’ll receive an email with a private link to join.
