Walk with a Doc Events
AARP Tampa Bay invites you to join us for Walk with a Doc, a walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. Meet with a local healthcare professional to learn about a current health topic and then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk at your own pace and distance. The event is FREE and open to everyone, so feel free to bring family or friends! Walks will occur the 2nd Saturday of each month at 8:30 AM at Woodland Terrace Park located at 6410 N 32nd Street, Tampa, 33610.

Resilience Workshops
Each Wednesday @ 3:00 – 4:00 PM ET
Developing practical resilience skills can help you cope with life’s ups and downs. This workshop is part of an ongoing weekly seminar offering a safe space to learn, listen and share. The goal is to develop resilience skills for coping with life and to bolster overall wellness. Mitigating social isolation through fellowship and connection can strengthen our resiliency. In this session, the focus will be on Reflection - looking back and within to build our natural resilience. These gatherings are about interaction and supportive small group discussion, whether you use your microphone or not -- cameras are always optional. You’ll also get an introduction to mindfulness practices, along with exercises to hone your skills.
