Patricia Fry, Associate State Director Community Outreach and Engagement

Posted on 06/18/24

Associate State Director of Community Outreach and Engagement Patricia Fry has worked in the nonprofit profession for over a decade. She was first introduced to humanitarian causes by volunteering with the American Red Cross in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

She later joined AmeriCorps for a year, which led to Patricia's next role as a Disaster Manager for the American Red Cross in Central Arkansas. From there, she grew to work closely with communities and volunteers across Arkansas as the Senior Disaster Program Manager for the American Red Cross in Arkansas.

This transformative experience allowed Patricia to transition into work for the Arkansas Food Bank as the Director of Volunteer Services. She expanded the outreach and engagement program with the Arkansas Food Bank to support food distribution for families across Arkansas.

As Associate State Director of Community Outreach and Engagement, Patricia focuses on the volunteer experience at AARP Arkansas and is the primary liaison between the State Office and community organizations across Arkansas. Her key outreach program is the AARP Livable Communities program, strengthening communities so people can safely age in place longer.

Patricia is a grandparent who loves to travel, explore new cultures, and gain new experiences. She also occasionally indulges her creative mind with interior design work.
