Oregon Statewide Eviction Moratorium

Posted on 01/07/21

The COVID-19 pandemic and the economic downturn have put many renters in financial distress and exacerbated the housing crisis in Oregon. The legislature recently passed a new statewide eviction moratorium and rental assistance that will last until June 30, 2021. This means that, with limited exceptions, landlords cannot evict renters for nonpayment or without cause until July of 2021.
