Online Events Focus on Veterans, Retirement

Posted on 04/30/21 by The AARP Bulletin

During the pandemic, AARP Arkansas has stepped up by providing many offerings online.

Each month, AARP members and volunteers from around the state attend a virtual gathering where they share information and resources and hear from state office staff and special guests on timely topics.

Starting in May, the state office will hold online events on veterans outreach, retirement planning and savings, fraud prevention and more. That month will spotlight “Thursdays in the Park,” presentations on parks across the country.
