Join AARP Washington in Renton for Fitness and Fun in the Park!
There's a new place to get fit, and it's right here in our community. AARP collaborates with local leaders to develop FitLotTM exercise areas in every state, including the AARP Sponsored Fitness Park in Renton at North Highlands Park.

Come join in the fun! Connect with AARP and Renton's Parks and Recreation Department as we host an open house with equipment demonstrations, program offerings, and more!
The community is invited to join the celebration and will also offer free food, music, an opportunity to try out and learn about the equipment and sign up for free classes. In collaboration with the national nonprofit, FitLot, AARP Washington worked with the local Parks and Recreation Department and Hallie Q. Brown to open the park. The Rentonpark is one of 60 outdoor parks built nationwide and features FitLot™ exercise equipment that can be adapted to meet a wide range of fitness levels and abilities.
