Honor his or her dedication, commitment, and creativity with a nomination for the 2020 AARP Kansas Andrus Award for Community Service -- AARP’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award for community service.
The purpose of the award is to recognize outstanding individuals who are making a powerful difference in their communities in ways that advance AARP’s purpose, vision, and commitment to volunteer service and that inspire others to volunteer.
AARP Kansas Andrus Award for Community Service nominees must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Nominations for this year’s award will be accepted through July 15, 2020. Nomination forms are available online at www.aarp.org/AndrusAward. Please contact the AARP Kansas State Office toll-free at 866-448-3619 or at email@example.com for further information and a nomination form. The application deadline is July 15, 2020.
The AARP Andrus Award for Community Service is an annual awards program developed to honor individuals whose service is a unique and valuable contribution to society. Last year, AARP recognized 50 outstanding individuals and couples from all over the country, including Kansas winner Guy Windholtz (pictured) from Hays.
