AARP Maryland is excited to shine a light on Marylanders who are using what they’ve learned in life to make a difference in the lives of those around them.

You can honor his or her dedication, commitment, and creativity with a nomination for the 2020 AARP Maryland Andrus Award for Community Service -- AARP’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award.

The award recognizes outstanding individuals who are making a powerful difference in their communities in ways that advance AARP’s purpose, vision, and commitment to volunteer service and that inspire others to volunteer.

Nominations for this year’s award will be accepted through July 23, 2020. Nomination forms are available by contacting or you can complete the form on the web at
