Nominate a Volunteer for the Andrus Award!

Do you know a volunteer age 50+ who is making a significant difference in your community?

Honor their dedication, commitment and creativity with a nomination for the 2025 AARP California Andrus Award for Community Service, AARP’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award for community service named after our founder, Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus!

The award recognizes individuals who are sharing their experience, talent and skills to enrich their communities in ways that are consistent with AARP’s purpose, vision and commitment to volunteer service and that inspire others to volunteer.

California’s 2025 Andrus Award for Community Service recipient will be presented with the award and a $1,000 check made out to the non-profit of their choice.

Nomination forms are available at www.aarp.org/AndrusAward. The deadline for the California Andrus Awards for Community Service nominations is July 15, 2025.

Please note that each state has their own nomination timeline. The California nomination period is May 1, 2025 through July 15, 2025.
