Nevada Volunteers Take Charge Leading Virtual Events

Posted on 05/21/20 by Justin Chavez

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the suspension of in-person AARP Nevada events, volunteers in the state have led our first virtual Cinamaniacs event in May.

Our NNorth Las Vegas team led by Mark Curtis, Jerry Lambert and April Gallagher led, arranged and organized a Cinamaniacs meeting for both our southern Nevada movie clubs. They were joined by other AARP members and volunteers.

This fun group held a discussion about past movies such as Oildale and Call of the Wind and they also reviewed trailers for upcoming films. They also used these meetings as a starting point to plan ideas for future Cinamaniacs events. Bravo team!
