By the end of June, our natural world is brimming with enchanting noises and entertaining movement as many mammals and birds are active with the warmer days and ample food availability. Lush fields and meadows are a riot of color, welcoming a host of pollinators and other insects.
Join Kelly Dwyer on June 22 at 9 am or 10:15 am as we stroll through the Urban Forestry Center in Portsmouth. Along the forested route, adjacent to a beautiful tidal saltmarsh on Sagamore Creek, we will explore the following:
Kelly Dwyer, founder of Nature Education Opportunities, is an award-winning environmental educator and certified NH elementary teacher. She has been creating and delivering engaging programming for audiences of all ages for over 15 years.
As a certified wellness coach, Kelly also brings a deep understanding of the numerous benefits of connecting with the natural world to reduce stress, improve health and embrace a more mindful approach to life and learning.
An avid gardener and cook, she loves to spend time with her family, which includes her husband and two daughters.
