AARP is proud to announce that multi-platinum R&B group After 7 will be headlining a free Couch Concert on June 2. The popular Couch Concert series is a collection of virtual shows, which concertgoers can watch free of charge from the comfort of their living room.

“Anyone who followed music in the late 80s and early 90s remembers the smooth sounds of After 7,” said AARP Georgia State Director Debra Tyler Horton. “This Couch Concert will certainly be one that folks won’t want to miss!”

Hailing from Indianapolis, Indiana, After 7 took the R&B world by storm in 1989 with their self-titled debut album. That album quickly went platinum, as did their 1992 follow up “Takin’ My Time”. That was followed in 1995 by “Reflections”, which was certified gold. After 7 currently performs with original member Kevon Edmonds joined by Keith Mitchell and Danny McClain.

While the Couch Concert is free to attend, registration is required. Anyone can go to the AARP website and register.
