Multigenerational Family

The rise in multi-generational households has been driven by a mix of economic, social, and demographic changes. Now, we have COVID-19. Having mom, dad, and grandparents may give you peace of mind, but it can also yield challenges.

Dr. Angela Catic is a board-certified geriatrician who sees first-hand the issues that can arise in a multi-generational household. She isn’t just seeing these issues in her practice, but at home too. She tells AARP Texas Prepare to Care Podcast host Charlene Hunter James that a successful multi-generational home is all about balance.
