Collegiate summer baseball is back in scenic Mat-Su Valley. On AARP Day at the Ballpark on Friday, June 28, catch the Mat-Su Miners when they take on the Anchorage Bucs at Hermon Brothers Field.

The 7 p.m. game is free for members and their guests.

The stadium is on the fairgrounds south of Palmer on Glenn Highway, with Pioneer Peak looming in the distance.

And if your voice is up to the task, you can volunteer to sing the national anthem or throw out the game’s first pitch. To get involved, call AARP Alaska at 907-762-3303.

Members who register for free tickets online will be entered in a drawing for family season tickets to the Miners or a pair of State Fair tickets with a parking pass.

You can register for AARP Day tickets at aarp.cvent.com/MSM2019.
