Men’s Health Forum in Brownsville

Posted on 06/06/19

Studies show many men would rather talk about current events, sports, their job, their kids — in other words, just about anything other than their health. AARP in Brownsville and local health groups will talk about it at our first-ever Men’s Health Forum on Tuesday, June 18. The event will be held at the Brownsville Events Center, 1 Events Center Blvd.

Come learn about living a healthy life and health risks specific to men at various times in their lives. The idea is to encourage early detection and treatment of certain medical conditions. Come, get educated, and receive the information needed to live longer, happier, healthier lives. Spouses or significant others are also invited to attend.

Local health organizations and doctors such as Dr. Nolan Perez, UT System Board of Regent and Harlingen CISD School Board will be talking about men’s health. Health screenings will also be available.
