Make Your Voice Heard on Issues Important to Older Adults

Posted on 02/28/21 by The AARP Bulletin

This year, AARP Massachusetts is focused on four major legislative priorities: a caregiver tax credit to cover expenses a taxpayer incurs for the care and support of a qualifying family member; nursing home reform; growing home- and community-based services; and expanding the Massachusetts Defined Contribution CORE Plan, a retirement plan designed for the state’s nonprofits.

The state office encourages residents to call their legislators to weigh in on these important issues for older adults.
