November is National Caregivers Month. AARP Kentucky and Elder Angela Overton, Senior Advisor for C-TAC’s Interfaith Workgroup invites you to attend the Louisville Community Care Project Caregivers Recognition Service for Louisville residents in the 40203 zip code (Portland, Russell and Smoketown Neighborhoods).
The Caregiver Recognition Dinner is a free community event with food, fun, worship, music, encouragement and an introduction to healthcare aids.
The Coalition to Transform Advanced Care (C-TAC) is collaborating with AARP Kentucky and a host of other community organizations, the University of Louisville, and several churches in the 40203 zip code. The Community Care Project’s goal is to build a community engagement approach addressing longstanding disparities in serious illness. The innovative approach aims to utilize the reach of the faith community to serve their neighbors.

When: Friday, December 2, from 6:00 to 8:30pm
Where: Gilda’s Club Louisville, 2440 Grinstead Drive, Louisville 40204
