Local Offerings Allow Tampa Bay AARP members to Connect  With Community and One Another

Did you know AARP volunteers and staff are right here in Tampa Bay? We’re working with local museums and other partners to offer you opportunities to enjoy the community and meet others who share your interests, all while saving money.

“We’re here to connect you with your community, so you can discover the next hidden gem or trend,” said Michelle Cyr, AARP associate state director for advocacy and outreach in Tampa Bay.

Florida CraftArt Events and Offerings

• Mural Walks: Come take in the sights of St. Pete’s rich art scene by enjoying a walking tour of over 25 murals in the area and get the behind the scene story that was the inspiration for each one. AARP members and one guest receive $2.00 off the price per ticket.
• Discounts: Visit Floridacraftart.org/aarp/ to get the latest event at which AARP members get discounts.

Museum of Fine Arts Events and Offerings

• Second Sunday Free Entry: AARP members receive free admission to the museum on the 2^nd Sunday of each month, which includes special artist talks, workshops and concerts scheduled for that day.

Salvador Dali Events and Offerings

• AARP members receive $2.00 off on general admission to the museum. Just present your AARP ID card.

Preserve the ‘Burg Events and Offerings

• Member Exclusive Tours: AARP and Preserve the ‘Burg (previously St. Pete Preservation) is offering members select walking, biking and boat tours this year. Registration and details are at aarp.org/TampaBay

Keep St. Pete Lit Events and Offerings

• Discounts: AARP members save 20 percent on writing and storytelling workshops, literary talks and special events. Classes are generally $10.00 but members and their guest will receive $2.00 off. St. Petersburg Museum of History:

• Visit the St. Petersburg Museum of History to view The Forgotten War: Korea 1950, an award winning photography exhibit by Pulitzer Prizewinning Associated Press photographer Max Desfor.
• AARP Members may receive a 50% discount on admission to the museum for the remainder of 2018.

Tarpon Arts:
