Lend a Hand: State Office Reaching Out for New Volunteers

Posted on 12/31/22 by The AARP Bulletin

AARP is reaching out to volunteers to help advocate on behalf of those 50 and older in the state.

There are a wide range of possibilities to accommodate the interests and skills of volunteers. These include helping organize local community events and doing advocacy work, as well as volunteer opportunities specifically for veterans.

AARP Arkansas is recruiting in January for an in-person volunteer orientation session to be held in March. Training will be provided. You can get involved by emailing ar@aarp.org. Stay up to date on AARP’s volunteer efforts and other activities at aarp.org/ar.
