Posted on 07/24/21

Learn to make fast, healthy and ono versions of local Japanese favorites in August during AARP Hawai`i’s Fast, Healthy and Ono cooking webinars with Windward Community College Chef Daniel Swift.

Swift will give recipes and show viewers how to make sushi handrolls, maki and nigiri sushi, air-fried chicken karaage and okonomiyaki, a savory Japanese pancake. The weekly cooking webinars allow viewers to cook along with Swift, who also provides tips on healthier ways to prepare food. Recipes are emailed to participants who register for the popular online classes held every Thursday at 5 p.m. To get a Zoom link, go to aarp.cvent.com/HIcooking or go to the AARP Hawai`i Facebook page and click on Upcoming Events to see all the webinars AARP Hawai`i are offering in August.
