Learn New Ways to Stay Healthy With Virtual Events in North Dakota

Posted on 03/31/21 by The AARP Bulletin

AARP is hosting a monthly video series encouraging North Dakotans to get moving and embrace a healthy lifestyle.

The program has been offered since 2018, but because of the pandemic, activities have moved from in-person events, such as pickleball and hiking, to virtual gatherings online.

Available via the online platform Zoom, the Passport to Healthy Living program is at 3 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month.

The April 21 session will feature outdoor gardening. Guest speaker Don Kinzler, the North Dakota State University Cass County Extension agent, will offer spring tips to have healthy lawns, trees and shrubs.

Previous topics have included wellness during the second half of life, nutritional cooking and mental health. View previous videos in the series at youtube.com/aarpnd

Find upcoming events at aarp.org/NDevents. They are free, but registration is required.
