Posted on 06/01/19 by TheAARPBulletin

Family caregiving can be stressful, and AARP Georgia is there to help.

Want to learn about services available to caregivers and their families? Join AARP Georgia and the Central Savannah River Area Agency on Aging for a Caregiver Resource Fair, Saturday, June 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Augusta-Richmond County Library, 823 Telfair St.

A second event at the same location will be held Saturday, July 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. AARP Georgia and Jil Johns of Space to Thrive, a mindfulness retreat, will give tips on how caregivers can carve out time for themselves.

The events are free, but space is limited. You can register for the June session at aarp.cvent.com/AARPGACaregiverResources and for the July event at aarp.cvent.com/AARPGACreatetheSpace.
