Latest 'Coffee and Conversation' Connects Bucks County Commissioners with AARP Members

Posted on 02/22/22

More than 40 AARP Pennsylvania members from Bucks County joined their County Commissioners Robert J. Harvie Jr. and Gene DiGirolamo on February 15th for AARP PA’s ongoing “Coffee and Conversation” series, discussing a range of county and community issues from home heating concerns to transportation options and inflation.

The Coffee and Conversation event was part of a series in which AARP Pennsylvania connects our members directly with their elected leaders in order to speak about the issues that matter most to the Commonwealth’s 50+ community. It is a volunteer-led and -moderated event.

The Commissioners discussed a variety of issues important to Bucks County residents for an hour, then invited those in attendance to contact them via BucksCounty.gov.

The Commissioners also hold public meetings the first and third Wednesday of every month.

“Coffee and Conversation” is a platform for AARP members and supporters to discuss relevant topics and current events with their political leaders.

The conversation is casual and the guests are always prepared to answer your questions about the local issues that matter most to you.

Information on joining future “Coffee and Conversation” events is available via the Southeast Pennsylvania volunteer email. Read more about volunteering with AARP here.
