Posted on 05/31/21 by The AARP Bulletin

AARP Iowa is seeking nominees for the AARP State Andrus Award for Community Service, its most prestigious honor.

Nominees must be Iowa volunteers or couples who are 50 or older. Selection will be based on how the nominee’s work supports AARP’s vision and purpose and improves the community. Last year’s winner, Leo Timms, of Ames, was recognized for his work with UnityPoint Hospice of Central Iowa.

Nominations are due by Sunday, Aug. 1. Learn more at aarp.org/ia
