Posted on 09/30/22 by The AARP Bulletin

Many important races will be decided in the Nov. 8 election, including the offices of the governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general, as well as seats in the U.S. and Connecticut Senate and House.

AARP Connecticut urges citizens to learn more about the candidates and where they stand on important issues, such as out-of-pocket prescription drug prices, inflation, the long-term care workforce crisis and alternate forms of transportation.

Learn more about what’s on the state’s election ballot and other essential information (such as what to do if you missed the registration deadline) at aarp.org/ctvotes. The page also explains a proposed amendment to the state constitution that would permit the General Assembly to provide for early in-person voting.
