Keep on Learning with Online Courses

Posted on 02/28/21 by The AARP Bulletin

The New Knowledge Adventures program underscores what the pandemic proved: Learning opportunities providing depth and enrichment can occur virtually.

AARP Idaho and Idaho State University offer older adults throughout the state exceptional virtual learning options, with more than 30 free online courses for the spring term, starting on Monday, March 15.

Subjects range from healthy aging to sleep hygiene to U.S. history and consumer topics like fraud prevention and the ins and outs of telehealth. Lifelong education is important for staying mentally active and maintaining overall well-being.

Volunteers teach New Knowledge courses, and AARP welcomes anyone interested in leading a class to contact aarpid@aarp.org. To register for spring classes, go to http://aarp.cvent.com/NKASpring2021.
