Posted on 04/15/25

American flags raised for holiday celebrations

This Memorial Day weekend, you’re invited to a powerful two-day event honoring Wyoming’s veterans and their families at the Veterans Talking to Veterans (VTTV) Memorial Day Celebration in Dubois, Wyoming.

  •  May 23–24, 2025
  •  National Museum of Military Vehicles, Dubois
  •  Free and open to the public

AARP will be there with a booth to share helpful resources for veterans and their loved ones—we’d love for you to stop by and say hello!

What to Expect:

  • Optional Friday evening VTTV Speaker’s Dinner ($15) and a free screening of Dear Sirs -  a documentary and a romance created by Wyoming Filmmakers about World War II and a veteran from Rock Springs
  • Saturday morning keynote with Governor Mark Gordon and VA leaders
  • Wyoming’s largest gathering of veteran services and resources from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Family-friendly activities, wellness offerings, and career support
  • Modern Warrior Live—a moving theatrical experience about the veteran journey

This unique event is part of a broader effort to support veterans through trauma-informed coaching and peer-led support. Whether you’re a veteran, a family member, or a supporter—you’ll find connection, resources, and inspiration.
