LGBTQ+ Lounge & Learn: Caregiving (and Planning) Decisions through an LGBTQ+ Lens (Online)
Tuesday, March 12 at 7- 8 p.m.
Join Ames Simmons, Senior Fellow at Duke University School of Law, and Michelle Gayette, Assistant Director of the Adult & Aging Services Section of ND Health & Human Services, as they discuss advance care planning and tools available when thinking about gender-affirming care during serious illness, long-term care, or end of life. Our presenters also will address efforts underway at the state level focused on ensuring your voice is heard throughout your lifespan. Register here.

Voter Engagement Telephone Town Hall | Thursday, April 25 at 7 p.m.
A telephone town hall is when we call you to cover important topics and open the line to YOUR questions. On April 25, join ND Secretary of State Michael Howe and learn the latest on where, when and how to vote in ND. With new district boundaries and so many local races on the ballot (park boards, mayors and more!) there’s plenty to cover. AARP ND will call you, but to ensure participation you can call 855-962-1463.

Stop the Scams Fraud Lunch & Learns in Four Cities
Back by popular demand, Tonya Hetzler, an investigator with the ND Attorney General’s Consumer Protection & Antitrust Division, will share tips on protecting yourself and your family from fraudsters. Hear more about the various scams affecting North Dakotans, and ways you can stop the scams. There is no charge to attend. Lunch will be provided. To register, click on the location nearest you.
