Noche de Danzon wide

Join AARP Illinois and the National Museum of Mexican Art for a night of tradition, dance and community connection.

AARP Illinois first partnered with the National Museum of Mexican Art in 2019 to put on a night of danzón music and dance for anyone to learn this beloved traditional dance, but especially to provide a fun night out catering to older adults in the Pilsen community and beyond. The event is also for caregivers, the many among us who take loving care of our parents, family and friends as they age.

The evening features live performances by Orquestra Sabor Latino and Inspiración Danzonera that will have you dancing all night long.
