Join AARP New Jersey in December for our monthly series on healthy living with virtual tai chi and chair yoga! On Wednesday, Dec. 15, you’ll have the opportunity to get active in the comfort of your home, while also learning about brain health.
Join Us for Tai Chi and Brain Health Education!
December 15 from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. ET
In this one-hour, virtual class, participants will learn about ways to support brain health. Then, a Tai Chi instructor will lead participants through movements that emphasize balance, strength, flexibility, posture, inner peace and aim to reduce stress. Participants will be guided through basic Tai Chi movements that they can practice on their own.
Join Us for Chair Yoga and Brain Health Education!
December 15 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. ET
In this one-hour, virtual class, participants will learn about ways to support brain health. Then, a yoga instructor will lead participants through postures while using a chair for support. This practice can help increase balance, flexibility, strength, and reduce stress.
Registration is required and space is limited, so please register today!
Once you register, you will be sent a confirmation email with a link to join the online Zoom meeting.
Please remember to have water and comfortable clothing that is conducive to movement. Please consult your physician before beginning any exercise program.
