Join the Fit and Fun Challenge

It’s spring, so it’s time to get happier, get healthier, and get walking together with the AARP annual walking challenge and sweepstakes which begins May 1 at Sunrise Mall.  Join the national challenge at www.aarp.org/challengebrownsville, and register to participate in the Brownsville program at aarp.cvent.com/RGV-FitFun-2019.  After you register, head to Sunrise Mall and follow the red arrows on the mall floor and walk 30 minutes a day for eight weeks (the challenge ends June 30).  You can also join our local Fit & Fun walking group.

Visit the challengebrownsville site daily to track your progress online, get inspired by AARP Wellness Ambassador Denise Austin, and share photos with walkers across the country.  Don't forget to spread the word to family and friends.
